[Bug 72953] TSSTcorpCD/DVDW TS-L532M issues on Ubuntu 6.10

Public bug reported:

I have a TSSTcorpCD/DVDW TS-L532M drive and I I see this message
repeated over and over again in the kernel logs:

I also have found a workaround but repeating the fix everytime hal
updates its annoying..
