Seriously. There is STILL essentially NO way to make any kind of edits
or alterations to the MIME database without using the terminal. This
really needs to be put to rest. ROX desktop (which uses the universal
MIME db just like gnome does) has had a GRAPHICAL editor for the MIME db
for some time. Changing something in the MIME db in ubuntu is a living
hell and seriously goes against the idea of making something that should
be simple be easy to do.
