can some of the reporters try disabling colortiling?

Option "Colortiling" "FALSE"

in the driver section of the xorg.conf and post here if it works...

It works for me here and would help me narrow it down if it some testers could check if it gets rid of it completely over time,
I'm away for a week and a bit but I'll see about fixing it when I get back....
