[Bug 58045] prefered applications doesn't respect my settings

Hi

I've just downloaded firefox beta 2 and want to use it as my main
browser, so I've installed it in /opt/firefox/

Then, in gnome prefered applications settings I've changed to path to my
browser so every gnome app uses firefox 2, but the url's are still
launching firefox 1.0 (provided by default ubuntu package).

I'm using dapper up to date i386 arch.
