Thanks for your bug. That's an upstream change, from the changelog:

" totem (1.5.90-0ubuntu1) edgy; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream version:
     - Add a default filename to the save playlist dialogue
     - Add supprot for more DVD related remote buttons
     - Move the properties dialogue to the sidebar
..."

You can use the sidebar for that now, marking the bug as rejected since
that's a feature. Feel free to reopen if you disagree
