[Bug 57398] Doesn't load external subtitles

Binary package hint: totem

The latest version of totem (2.15.92) no longer loads external .srt
subtitle files.  The files are standard subtitle files of the format:

I tried specifying the file name on the command prompt but then it does
not even play the video.
