[Bug 54882] Main menu lockup

Binary package hint: gnome
Breezy.
Log into your desktop and do whatever.
Log out.
Immediately log back in as the same user.
The Auto hide action of the menu bar at the top of the screen is now in permanent hide.
Temp solutions is to create a tty or a terminal if you have a shortcut key, and use that to implement shutdown.
