Thanks for your bug report. Were you trying to install Breezy or Dapper?
This looks more like a Breezy installation to me, so it'd be nice if you
could try the Dapper CD (maybe just the LiveCD) and report back, as
their have been a bunch of improvements to liboil in the meantime.
