[Bug 40945] Improve highlighting on mouseover

Description:
I'm not sure if you appreciate this kind of feedback, but here it
goes...

I wish nautilus would highlight the background when the mouse is not
over any file (see mockup #1). This would make it clearer to imagine
what would happen by right-clicking (i.e. whether the file's menu or the
parent folder's menu would pop up).

I also wish that files were highlighted with an outline, not just by
highliting the icon. (see mockup #2). The rationale is the same as
above.
