Hey, that was a fast install :)
I still have an icon on my desktop for the ntfs partition but now I have permission to read it. The fstab line is now
/dev/sda1       /media/sda1     ntfs   defaults,nls=utf8,umask=007,gid=46 0    1
Looks good! You can close this bug, I don't see a way to do it myself.
