@act0, under EUC-KR, please check Name and Encoding entries of some
desktop files in /usr/share/applications directory, which not displayed
with name entry to the menu. You just open files with editor (for
example synaptic.desktop), then look them whether Korean displayed
correctly. And, was your EUC-KR desktop fresh installation or converted
from UTF-8 after installtion?
