+1 for "Retrait du périphérique" :)
"Connecter" verb is probably linked with a *network* situation in
beginners mind, while "Brancher", "Retirer", "Débrancher", "Retrait" is
associated with the physical movement of *(un)plugging* the device.
Just my 2 cents.
