[Bug 39171] 2.14.1-0ubuntu1 crashing and causing bug-buddy to crash

Description:
Deskbar-applet is crashing when I use the "programs" extension.

If it crashes in this way, bug-buddy also crashes if I click "inform
developers".

I've narrowed the bug down to something that affects the "programs"
extension (and not the "Programs (advanced)" extension).

The bug occurs both when many extensions are loaded, and when it is the
only extension loaded.
