Ubuntu | gnome-volume-manager
Summary: Nautilus not seing volumes mounted by volume-manager
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-volume-manager
AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: kassick at gmail.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
When a cd/dvd rom media is inserted in the drive, gnome-volume-manager mounts
it, but nautilus doesn't update the view in computer:// . Clicking in the drive
icon makes nautilus try to mount the already mounted media, giving an error.
Volume Manager output:
manager.c/1619: New Device: /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_
manager.c/1686: Changed: /dev/hda
manager.c/1258: mounting /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_...
manager.c/696: executing command: /usr/bin/pmount-hal
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_label_
Nautilus error message (when clicking in the drive icon):
Error: device /dev/hda is already mounted to /media/cdrecorder
Error: could not execute pmount
