The warning comes from gnome-menus' patch (user_is_sudoer () runs "group
<user>") but that's just a normal warning, it doesn't crash the panel. Can you
get a backtrace of the crash (the bug-buddy dialog to send a bug upstream has
it)? Out of this message that works fine for me.
