Can you please try the following, and let me know whether it works:

1. In System Administration, Printing, printer Properties, Advanced, put
GhostScript pre-filtering back to No pre-filtering.
2. In Firefox, select File, Print ..., Print to (*)Printer, Printer: [your
printer], and click on Properties...
3. Print Command will show `lpr ${MOZ....'.  After `lpr', insert `-o
PreFilter=Level1'.  Note that there should be spaces before and after `-o' and
after `Level1' but not elsewhere near the added text.  Click OK to dismiss the
Firefox Printer Properties.
4. Click OK to Print.
