Ubuntu | gnome-screensaver
Summary: No way to lock screen after sleep
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-screensaver
AssignedTo: ogra at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: arne at datafloater.de
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
There seems to be no way to configure GNOME to lock the screen and ask for a
password when the computer is suspended.
This is a very important security issue! After sleep a possible attacker should
need to reboot the machine if he does not have the password so that all
encrypted filesystems are no longer accessible.
