The problem still remained, that the partitions were not mounted correctly. One
time /dev/sda1 and nothing else, the next time /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 and not
/dev/sda3, ...

And the order in which directories they were mounted was changing everytime.

But since I gave the ext3 partitions labels they are mounted correctly to

/media/usbdisk (/dev/sda1, vfat, no label)
/media/Backup (/dev/sda2, ext3, label: Backup)
/media/Swap (/dev/sda3, ext3, label: Swap)

I don't know if the labels solved the problem!?

As I wrote upper, under Hoary I had no labels for the disk and Hoary mounted
them perfectly everytime...

Maybe I remove the labels for test case and plug the disk in after that. If it
fails again, I will add some comment here.
