Yes, it is in the pmount debug log in comment #30:

spawn(): executing /bin/mount '/bin/mount' '-t' 'vfat' '-o'
'nosuid,nodev,user,quiet,shortname=winnt,async,atime,noexec,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=077'
'/dev/hdc1' '/media/hdc1' '(null)'
spawn(): /bin/mount terminated with status 32

but in comment #39 you checked that the actual mount command works when used
manually. Of course you can try again the manual command with "/media/hdc1"
instead of "/mnt" as the last parameter and create the directory /media/hdc1
before. That is the only difference I can see, but I fail to see why one should
succeed and the other not... But let's try it.
