Ah, sorry. This is on the i386 achitecture. Before making the report, I asked
around on the #ubuntu channel and there were at least two people seeing this
behaviour, one of whom confirmed this bug and set its status to NEW.
I remember this started happening only in the last week or two. Before that
everything worked just fine.
