In Ubuntu Breezy Badger Colony CD 5:

There seems to be a subtle language selection bug with GDM:

1) login
2) logout to GDM
3) click Language
4) click on different language possibilities (I have french and chinese in my list)
5) click validate

this produces:

1) the highlight changes from selected language to another unrelated language
2) every click in the language dialog leads to another language
3) the Language button on GDM doesn't work anymore and you have to CTRL-ALT-BKSP
GDM to make it work again
