Thanks for your bug. Is that happening since an update? Does it work fine with
totem-gstreamer by example? Do you use gstreamer0.8-mad or gstreamer0.8-ffmpeg?
What does "rhythmbox -d" say on the issue? What kind of file do you read? mp3,
ogg? Does downgrading the package fixes your issue?
