PARTLY FIXED
Good News: System remains useable; no Problems with GNOME or keyboard input.
Bad News: After Replugging tht device, it is not available (not listed in
/proc/asound/cards). Again, gnome-settings-daemon is responsible for this:
ending the gnome-session or just killing gnome-settings-daemon lets the device
show up immediately.
Unskilled Users will have to log out to solve this problem, most propably they
will even reboot.
