No, creating a new message and sending it is working as expected.
The problem only occurs if i _reply_ to a mail. Let me try to explain again:

1) Do a reply to a message received on account 1
2) The message window pops up and I type my reply
3) Click on the dropdown list at the top of the message window and change the
'From' from account 1 to account 2
4) Send the message
5) Evolution tries to send it over smtp1, but it should send over smtp2

As a workaround:
6) Reopen the message
7) Remove the recipient's address from the 'To:' field and type it in again
8) Send the message again
9) Now evo sends the message over smtp2 as expected.
