I also noticed this issue a few days ago.  But it really doesn't really matter
for the actual delivery of the email: if you keep the comma at the end, send the
email, and then look at the from header in the source of the email on the
recipient(s) side  the comma is gone.   So it appears it is only an aesthetic
issue while composing the email.
