        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal

Attempting to change the boolean value results in the value not changing, no
matter the answer to the confirmation dialog.

See Bug 15165 for background.

<[Chameleon]> changing that file is not enough it seems... I changed the
permissions, which did cause the menu item to show up. It is currently enabled
due to my setting it under sudo previously, however, when I then try to modify
that setting, I am prompted by gksudo, which I proceed through, then a dialog
box warning of security implications is shown...

<pitti> [Chameleon]: that's fine

<[Chameleon]> Neither OK or Cancel result in the option being altered; that's
what is not fine

<sivang> hmm

<pitti> uh, not? please file a bug about that then

<[Chameleon]> OK

<sivang> [Chameleon]: assign it to me , if you may :)

<pitti> I'm currently busy, will deal with that later

<[Chameleon]> sivang: I don't have the ability to assign bugs it seems. When I
tried before, it said I could not, but, I will CC you :)

<sivang> [Chameleon]: ah ok, thanks
