I am still seeing this message after installing the preview release today and
updating immediately (16th september). I have those two files in /var/run/dbus
and I have this initscript.

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 14 2005-09-16 12:56 /etc/rc2.d/S12dbus -> ../init.d/dbus

any other information required, just ask!
