Summary: breezy: Nautilus shows copying files to usb stick is
finished when it's not
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: nautilus
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: pruzilla42 at yahoo.de
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I have a Samsung MP3/Vorbis Player that is also a removable usb2 device. Under
hoary it takes about 3 minutes to copy 300MB of MP3 files to the stick. Under
breezy and the same operation nautilus tells it is finished after 30 seconds. So
I thought, great, I am finished and unmounted the usb stick and found out that a
lot of the files are missing. After repeating the procedure and nautilus telling
me it is finished I noticed (CPU usage) that it is still copying files. It also
halted for a moment, then again CPU usage was up and it was copying.
This is really bad because I don't know when it is really finished.
