Summary: evolution doesn't download e-mail automatically after
startup
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: evolution
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: svloon at xs4all.nl
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
A rather basic but important feature is missing in Evolution. Most e-mail
clients, for example Kontact and Thunderbird, automatically download e-mail from
the server after they have started up. Evolution does not, so everytime after it
has started up I have to hit the Send/Receive button. I've checked but I
couldn't find an option to put on in the Preferences. I did find the option to
automatically check for mail every x minutes, but that's not what I was hoping for.
