When changes are made in for instance 'Control key position' in the 'Keyboard'
system preferences they are not invoked. Instead the whole GUI switches breifly
to GTK1 and then back to GTK2. The control indicates that the control key
settings are applied but they are not.

I'm using the latest version of Breezy.
