Summary: Gnome-Main-menu.png is "shortened"
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: gnome-applets
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: fabrizio at ciacchi.it
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I use regulary a Debian Sarge and an Ubuntu Breezy (updated from hoary few days
ago).
A problem i have had on hoary and i have on breezy is that i use a file
"gnome-main-menu.png" personalized by me to use main menu
button in a Windows style, and the icon is shortened in width to the height of
the bar where I insert the main menu.
To make you understand better my problem
on Debian Sarge with Gnome 2.8

on Ubuntu Hoary/Breezy with Gnome 2.10/2.12
http://forum.html.it/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=7357191
I think that the possibility to use a "button" in a Windows style can be useful,
in first stage cause a lot
of person can use it, in second stage cause i have a beautiful button of Ubuntu
made by me and so I will use
it (now I'm condemned to see the Gnome foot on my panel).
Regards.
