Summary: gdm crashes at first char of password after upgrade to
                    Breezy
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gdm
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: mjordan-ubuntu at code-fu.de
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I performed an upgrade from Hoary to Breezy today.

After I fixed an issue with the xorg keyboard driver (that was appearantly
renamed from "keyboard" to "kbd") gdm started and accepted my username. But on
the first character of the password gdm crashed and restarted.

I found out that the following directory didn't have the fonts.dir file:

/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/CID

After I generated one with mkfontdir gdm behaved as expected.
