Summary: [Breezy] Nautilus window dissapears after a short while,
when browsing a bookmark from Places.
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: nautilus
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: nyberg.kent at spray.se
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I have a bookmark in the Places menu for "/home/kent/Mina Bilder",
"/home/kent/Mina Filmer" etc.
When I click on Places in the panel, and click on "/home/kent/Mina Bilder"
(which is displayed as "Mina Bilder" in the menu, then the window
is shown for half a second, and then dissapears. Nautilus dont seem to crash,
since when nautilus crashes the icons on the display is re-drawn etc, and this
dont happen. The window just dissapears after a very short while. I can open
Home from the Places menu, and then click on the folder named "Mina Bilder" and
the folders up like normal.
I dont know of a good way to debug this (perhaps restart nautilus from a
terminal with debugging on - but I dont know how).
I tried to remove the shortcuts/bookmarks and re-add them from a filechooser
widget (is there some other way to do it? It seems a bit nuts to open gedit just
to add a shortcut..)
I run an updated breezy.
