Summary: CF memory card, vfat partition does not auto-mount/open
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: hal
        AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: ubuntu.com at schildbach.de
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

CF memory card in the CF slot on Breezy Colony 3 Live-CD, Dell Latitude X1: The
card seems to be detected, but the vfat partition contained on the card does not
auto-mount/open.

When I look into the new "Disks Manager", I have an entry for the CF card, and
the partitions tab reveals that there is a vfat partition on it, with "Status:
Inaccessible". The "Enable" button has got no effect.

I tried two different CF cards, but both cards/partitions were created with my
digital camera. I did not try re-formatting one of these cards yet.

Please let me know what sorts of log files you need, and if I should probably
test a more recent Live-CD (which one?).
