So, for the past week or so, gamin has been pretty much useless, it almost never
works, only for a tiny bit of time on initial login, for example, the nautilus
desktop stops updating.

Additionally, 3 times now in the last week it has gotten into a state where
connecting to the socket results in the application hanging on it, this is a
particularly problem because many applications effectively 'hang' on startup
because of this, this will for example stop totem from opening at all, and
firefox will work but clicking various links to download will cause it to freeze
90% of the time.

Curious thing is I can't see an upload since at least August 12, I've just
started a rebuild of the package and will install and see if it helps at all,
and with debug symbols to get a backtrace of what its doing when it gets stuck.
