Summary: External USB Drive won't unmount cleanly for user
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
               URL: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=84262
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-volume-manager
        AssignedTo: martin.pitt at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: ubuntubugzilla at psychocats.net
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When the user unmounts it graphically or through terminal, the following error
appears:

Unable to eject media

eject: unable to eject, last error: Invalid argument

If it gets unmounted with sudo, it unmounts just fine.
The problem does not seem to occur for all devices, and it also does not seem to
occur in Kubuntu
