Summary: Rhythmbox doesn't read all mp3s
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: rhythmbox
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: asubstitute at gmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

My music is organized into folders like this:

Top level music directory
	Artist directory
		Album directory
			Tracks

I wanted to reload my music library so while in library view, I went Control+A,
right-clicked, then went delete. I proceded to the 'Music' menu and clicked
'Import Folder'. Only SOME of my music is being imported, say, album A for
artist X has ten tracks, tracks 3, 7, 2, 9 might show up in Rhythmbox but not
the other tracks. The little status bar that moves back and forth while
reloading your tracks shows odd behaviour too, every couple of seconds, it goes
away and shows 'You have XXX hours music, XX gb etc etc'.

I have a total of about 2600 mp3s and when I reload the top directory into
Rhythmbox, it says I have 1811. I know the tracks that are missing are there &
not corrupt because I can go play them manually with totem.

If I goto 'Music', 'Import File' and click on one of tracks that wasn't
imported, nothing happens, no error, but neither is the track imported.

This is the first time I have reloaded my library since I upgraded from 5.04 to
5.10.
