Thanks por the reply. These problems appear after the update to breezy. With
hoary gimp worked fine.

These are my versions:
xsane 0.97-3ububtu2
gimp 2.2.8-2ububtu6

I dont have any scanner, and i didnt chose to install xsane. Should i remove
this package?
