[Bug 17470] nautilus keeps crashing, too many symlinks?

Well I am suprised it doesn't happen more frequently but as it can happen
random, people don't always fill a bug.

Concerning specific configuration, I think this kind of configuration can happen
for standard user.

You have a Documents in your Home dir, you want it accessible from the Desktop,
you do a drag'n drop link with nautilus on the Desktop.
Later you want to directly access a subdirectory of Documents from your Desktop,
you drag'n drop link with nautilus on your Desktop
Now you have the two symlinks case (which is my case)

Anyway I understand it's a bit late.
