Information from my setup:
The bug shows when I change something in the behavior tab (as shown in the
attached picture), like the EURO keys, or Group-Shift behavior.
All other tabs (Default groups, etc.) of the application don't show that bug.
my config is:
in gnome:
- modell: Logitech Deluxe Access
- maps: German, US English (German as default)
- behavior: ALT-SHIFT changes group

in xorg.conf:

I get no warnings or other XKB stuff as in #15372. Just a switch of the whole
Desktop to GNOME Default Theme and than back to the Theme I've chosen (tested:
Human and Clearlooks themes).
