Summary: GNOME VFS sftp support much slower than scp
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-vfs2
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: unit3 at demoni.ca
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When copying a ~ 500MB file from my local Ubuntu box to my server using scp on
the commandline, I can usually get 3-4 MB / sec, and it finishes in a couple of
minutes. When I use the GNOME VFS sftp module, it takes about *45* minutes. That
just doesn't seem right to me. :) I'm running Breezy, and I've got libgnome-vfs2
version 2.12.1-0ubuntu1.
