Ubuntu | gnome-panel

Summary: [breezy] Ubuntu artwork isn't showing up in my gnome
                    panels.
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-panel
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: burner at suppressingfire.org
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

This is slightly odd. I have half a dozen machines on breezy right now, and
they're all up to date as of tonight. On most of them, the foot icon in the
applications menu of the panel is replaced by ubuntu circle of friends icon. For
some reason, this is not the case on my laptop.

I have even created a new user to see if I can see the "distributor logo" with a
fresh desktop. I cannot.

I have checked that ubuntu-artwork is installed, and that
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/distributor-logo.png exists and contains the
proper image.

My gnome-panel version is 2.12.1-0ubuntu3.

This laptop was originally a hoary install, but has been on breezy (with almost
daily updates) for a couple months now.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.
