Summary: Can't delete symlinks to directories without write
                    permisions
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nautilus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: ben_ubuntu at benroe.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

If I create a link to a directory which I have only read access to on my
desktop, I can't delete it using Nautilus. I can delete the symbolic link from a
terminal window, but Nautilus refuses to believe I can delete it.

To reproduce:

1) Middle-button click and drag /home to the desktop as a normal user
2) Observe padlock on icon
3) Attempt to delete link

This is with an up-to-date Breezy system as of the morning(GMT) of 3rd Oct 2005
