Up to date ubuntu hoary.
Totem with gstreamer backend:
- Totem can read smoothly xvid movies using ALSA.(roughly 60% CPU usage)
- Totem cannot read smoothly xvid movies using ESD.(roughly 60% CPU usage)
- Audio stays in sync with video.
In both previous cases, also with mpegv4 and divx movies, macro blocks are going
greenish between I-Frames (the colors are back to normal each time an I-Frame is
processed).
I must use ESD since hardware mixing is not available on my PowerMac sounchip.
