Since I upgraded to dapper, I noticed the following problem:

whenever I start my computer, Evolution doesn't show any contact, and the
contact lookup applet doesn't work either. Then, if I launch
/usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-1.6 manually, and restart gnome-panel
and evolution, everything works well.

So, two possibilities: whether e-d-s is not started at all, or it is started but
crashes immediately.
