Gdm is set by default to use the graphical "Themed Greeter" with the "Human"
theme. I am fully updated as of June 29, 2005 and I can not use the graphical
"themed Greeter."

When gdm tries to display the greeter it crashes and I get a Grey screen with an
information box. It says, "The greeter program appears to be crashing.
attempting to use a different one."

I click "OK" and get the non-graphical GTK+ Greeter which works just fine. I can
log on to Gnome with this GTK+ greeter and I write to you using the Gnome
desktop now. However, we need to find out why the update of a few days ago
killed the "Themed greeter."

All hardware is fine as this box runs pure Debian Sid and I use the graphical
Gdm greeter.

I use the 2.6.12-2-k7 kernel.
