Summary: Can't turn off visualisations in Totem
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: totem
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: mig_82 at optushome.com.au
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I'm running an up to date version of Ubuntu Hoary and I some point I turned on
the visual effects for sound files in Totem. But they don't work smoothly and I
don't like them so I tried to turn them off. What happens when I try to untick
the checkbox (Preferences, Display: Visual Effects) is that it flashes off,
greys out the selection menus and then ticks itself back on. So I can only
switch between the visualisations, rather than having none.
There aren't any error messages resulting from this operation when I run Totem
from a GNOME terminal.
