Summary: Evolution won't check pop3 mailboxes at startup
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: evolution
AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: hcbrugmans at gmail.com
QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
#evolution on gnome.org made fun of me for considering this a bug, but here it goes.
Currently, if the user sets evo to periodically check email, it will do so every
X minutes, but not at startup.
After starting the program, the user who wants to "just work" his email, will
have to manually refresh, or wait X minutes for mail to come in.
This is the primary reason I'm not using evo at the moment.
Having a design that forces everyone to hit a key every time they start the
program for it's primary function, checking mail. (don't get me started)
