yes i do believe it may happen with a non gnome app but i use mostly gnome apps.
it happens with evolution.... happens with gaim. happens with the terminal. im
not sure but I think these are all gnome apps. Im suprised that im the first
person to report this as its a real annoying bug and I wouldn't know why it
would only happen to me. I have  tried both ctrl-c and right click copy over and
over again and i consistantly have this problem.
