Well, the gnome-battstat applet is great, and shows my charge remaining as a
percentage just fine, but it refuses to show the time remaining.  It only shows
"Unknown time", even though it really should know...or so I think.  Some people
suggested that my DSDT was the problem, but after fixing that and appending it
to my initrd, the problem was not resolved.  Another kind soul thought that it
might be some issue with "non-standard ACPI stuff on my board".  I'm happy to
provide any output/information requested.
